The way things go
(German: Der Lauf der Dinge) is a 1987 art film by the Swiss artist duo Peter Fischli and David Weiss. It documents a long casual chain of assembled everyday objects, resembling a Rube Goldberg machine. The machine is a warehouse, about 100 feet long, and incorporates materials such as tires, trash bags, soap, oil drums, and gasoline. Fire and pyrotechnics are used as chemical triggers.

is a 1977 short documentary film written and directed by Ray Eames and her husband Charles. The film depicts the relative scale of the Universe in factors of ten (see also logarhythmic scale and order of magnitude)

La jetée
